Moving On

The Aces took down Pennsbury 3-0 Tuesday afternoon at Arnold. The game was set to be live-streamed, but HUDL was apparently not immune to the AWS outage. Thanks, Bezos. Luckily, I still have Joe Arnold’s number from when I ran goalkeeper sessions for Caden, so I was able to keep tabs in Chicago. Thank you, Joe!

This will be a fairly short recap, since I wasn’t able to watch, but Alex Jackson headed home our first goal of the day on a corner kick from Caden Arnold. Then a Sam Polichino brace — including a screamer of a volley from 25 yards out — sealed it for us. Hopefully, the film is recoverable!

Up next, LM hosts Norristown, who upset 12th seeded Unionville last night in penalties, tomorrow at 3pm. In our regular season meeting, we handily beat Norristown 8-0. Since then, Norristown went on to have a very successful season finishing 11-6-1. Hopefully the livestream will work tomorrow, otherwise Joe can expect a few texts from me! Vamos Aces!
